About Baker Tilly Staples Rodway

Baker Tilly Staples Rodway is primarily an Accounting, Tax, Audit, Corporate Advisory, Business Advisory and Business Recovery firm. We are an independent member of Baker Tilly International, which was voted Network of the Year’ at the International Accounting Forum & Awards 2023. Here in New Zealand, we have offices in Auckland, Tauranga, Waikato, Taranaki, Hawke's Bay, Wellington and Christchurch.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people who:

  • Are in their final year of study at university or graduated within the past 24 months
  • Are majoring in accounting
  • Plan to become a Chartered Accountant and follow either the CA ANZ or CPA pathway
  • Have part-time work experience, volunteer experience or involvement in extracurricular activities
  • Have the right to work in New Zealand

The detail

  • Our graduate intakes are in February 2026 and July 2026
  • We currently have graduate role openings in the following service lines: Audit, Business Advisory, Tax and Insolvency.

What to expect during the application process

  1. First, please submit your online application including your CV, cover letter, academic transcript and passport (or visa) copy
  2. Then take the online psychometric assessment. Please state in your application if you anticipate needing assistance. We’re here to help you succeed
  3. You’ll then have a phone interview with a member of our HR team
    Followed by a video interview
  4. Then – congratulations – you’ll be invited an in-person interview and meet the team if your application is successful!
